Experience a new dimension of riding with Gnu!

Gnu was recognized by TWS Magazine as the first brand to introduce deep carving sidecut radii designed for resort hard snow, a key step in the evolution of snowboards from traditional backcountry models to modern all-terrain "directional snowboards."

Inspired by Mike Olson's early 80's designs, Gnu combines cutting-edge technology with 40 years of snowboarding experience. Progressive sidecut radii provide smooth turn entry and confident tail hold, allowing you to carve on hard snow and ice. The long, smooth nose easily floats in deep snow on special days, while the swallowtail and tapered shape provide even more control and float.

The modern C2 directional contour works in harmony with the front and sidecuts for easy turn initiation, while the narrow and short camber provides additional lock-in in the rear for radical, powerful carving on the resort.

The modern C2 directional contour works in harmony with the sidecuts for easy turning, while the shortened camber in the tail provides powerful grip for aggressive carving on the resort. This snowboard is the perfect combination of functionality in the front and powerful performance in the rear!

Immerse yourself in the history and innovation of Gnu - your perfect companion for exhilarating skiing on the ski slopes!

Features:

  • Flex: 6.5 out of 10
  • Purpose: ALL MOUNTAIN / FREERIDE
  • Directional - Directional geometry and shape of the snowboard with a longer nose relative to the tail. This design allows the board to float in deep snow conditions and maintain excellent stability on the piste. C2 camber - ideal for all terrain, hybrid rocker/camber, good in all and everywhere, including powder.

Edge:

  • Magne-Traction by Mervin MFG is a revolutionary technology for snowboards, providing unrivaled grip on the slopes. Unique serrated edges create 7 additional points of contact with the snow, improving control on ice and hard snow. This technology allows you to turn confidently and maintain stability in all riding conditions.

Core:

  • G LITE 3 FSC Certified Aspen + Paulownia Core is a lightweight and eco-friendly construction that provides excellent performance for your snowboard. The FSC Certified Aspen and Paulownia core layer combines strength and minimal weight, allowing for easy maneuverability and speed control. This technology promotes quick response and stability, making the ride more comfortable.
  • Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax Glass + Carbon Power Bands — provides excellent performance and responsiveness of the snowboard. Tri-Ax is laid consistently at angles of 45° 45° 90°, and Bi-Ax is laid at angles of 0° 90°, these glass fibers create a reliable and lightweight structure, and carbon bands add additional rigidity and stability. This technology improves control at high speeds and when performing tricks, providing excellent energy return.

WALLS:

  • SIDEWALL & TIPS/TAILS: UHMW — ensures the durability of your snowboard. The use of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW) in the sidewalls, noses and tails guarantees excellent protection from impacts and mechanical damage. This material is highly resistant to wear and reduces friction, which improves glide on snow.

Top:

  • Eco Sublimated Poly Top — a snowboard technology that combines durability and eco-friendliness. The specially treated polyester surface provides bright and durable images, protecting the snowboard from mechanical damage and moisture. This technology not only improves the appearance, but also reduces the impact on the environment.

Base:

  • Sintered Knife-Cut Base - provides excellent glide and durability. The sintered base with a unique knife cut creates a texture that improves grip and reduces friction, allowing you to easily glide on any type of snow. This is the perfect choice for aggressive riding, providing maximum performance and durability on the slopes!
