The VAAVUD wind meter turns your smartphone into a high-tech weather instrument. Allows you to determine the wind speed in the range from 2 to 20 meters per second (up to 24 m/s on the iPhone 5S and up to 48 m/s on some Androids) with an error of +/- 4%. VAAVUD MJOLNIR is designed without the use of electronics, which makes it as unpretentious and durable as possible. The kit comes with a practical neoprene case, so you can take VAAVUD wherever you want without worrying about its integrity.

Quick user guide: After simply downloading the free application “vaavud wind meter” in the appStore or Play Market, you can use your anemometer almost immediately. After reading a couple of recommendations to get started, you get to the main menu.

Measure Tab

If Vaavud is inserted into the device, you can press the "Start" button and the device will start measuring, displaying data such as: average, maximum and current wind speed in different units (m/s , km/h, knots…). When you want to stop the measurement process, press "Stop" and the application will automatically leave a point on the map where and when you took it.

Map Tab

You can see the time and place of measurements of other users from all over the world during the last 24 hours on the "Map" tab. Want to windsurf or kite, but don't know if there is wind in a particular place? You can see the measurements of your friends and other users on the general map and make a decision to go to the spot.

History tab

It will allow you to view the history of your measurements for the entire period of use and delete those that were taken incorrectly. This will become available after a quick registration or authorization through your Facebook account.
